1. GENERAL
Name searchThe notary office performs no name searches. If the CoC rejects the name the costs If so desired, you may perform a name search at the Chamber of Commerce (CoC). If the CoC refuses to accept the name of the Foundation the costs of a name change will be for your account. The articles of the Foundation must be amended.
Statutory nameStatutory name is the name of the Foundation in the articles of incorporation. The statutory name must start or end with Stichting (or its translation). The name must cover the purpose of the Foundation.
Abbreviated name (optional) Abbreviated name is the abbreviation of the statutory name registered in the Foundation Register of the CoC after the incorporation.
Address of the FoundationThis is the physical address where the Foundation will be located. The address cannot be a P.O. Box. The address may be changed after incorporation. The appropriate forms for change of the address must be filed at the CoC.
2. INCORPORATOR(S) / 3. BOARD MEMBER(S)
Fill in the complete names of the incorporator(s).
The following is furthermore required:
a. Complete and sign a client form for each incorporator;
b. For residents:
- a copy of a valid passport or Aruban ID. The client must be identified in person at our office with a valid passport or Aruban ID;
- a copy of a census paper of Afl. 5.00 not older than 3 months;
c. For non-residents:
-a copy of a valid passport and a copy of valid 2nd i.d. The client must be identified in person at our office with a valid passport. In case the client will not be present at our office, we need to receive a certified true copy of his/her passport and 2nd i.d. (i.e. driver’s license);
- a copy of a utility bill not older than 3 months.

In this section you can indicate additional wishes, such as the inclusion of a board of supervisory directors (“Raad van Toezicht”) in the articles of incorporation.
If the Foundation performs commercial activities, please take note of the following.
